Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapy

Babies and children with neurological conditions commonly have difficulties at home and at school that require rehabilitation in order to help with their normal development and social interaction. Neurological disorders can make it difficult for children to reach their full potential, and parents / carers and teachers dealing with a child with neurological problems also need support and training in order to help them through their roles.

Paediatric PhysiotherapySome children may or may not have a formal diagnosis of a neurological condition, or they may show signs of developmental delay or difficulties processing information about their surroundings which leads parents and teachers to be concerned that something is not quite right.

Our Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapy team are highly trained in the field of paediatric neurological conditions, neurodevelopmental delay and neurological injuries, including those children with complex needs. We can assess and provide physiotherapy rehabilitation for children with neurological problems and associated injuries, offer support for their families and carers, and training and advice as necessary in order for them to realised their potential and improve their quality of life.

We can provide physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation from one of our clinics or within a child’s home or school. Hydrotherapy sessions may also be arranged as required. We are experienced in dealing with children who are referred via Case Managers, Solicitors and Insurers and we can provide detailed reports, risk assessments, protocols and care plans for children and their care teams, and professional recommendations regarding long-term needs as necessary.
